Context for Learning

TOPIC- Africa

Our new topic for the second half of the Summer term will be based on Africa and we will be making comparisons with our own local area! We will be exploring the topic through  many creative and expressive ways e.g. African Art, Music, Food.

We will begin our Topic on Friday 7th June with our immersion day - If your child has anything to contribute please bring it along on this day! Equally if you have ever travelled to Africa and would like to talk to the children please let us know if you would be willing to come in!

We absolutely love reading your weekly views in the P4C books. The weekly question can be discussed at home and children can either write or draw their responses in their books. Parents are also encouraged to express their own views or even scribe for their children. We value and respect all your opinions.
