Year 4 had the wonderful opportunity to take part in a 'Creative Schools Project'. As a class, they decided they wanted to create an outdoor learning space that could be used by the whole school; whilst also developing their oracy, thinking and problem solving skills. The children were involved in the recruitment process and successfully appointed their Creative Practitioner called Nancy. The children had to work with Nancy to design their space before collaboratively bring it to life!
The children learnt to be: collaborative, inquisitive, persistent, imaginative and disciplined.
Take a look at the children's journey and how they created their wonderful outdoor learning area.
