Inclusion Team

Hayley Larcombe - Emotional and Literacy Lead

I started my journey in education in 2008 and have worked in schools across the south of England in various roles. I have worked with all ages in primary schools and am pleased to be joining St David’s primary school as an ELSA teacher. I have a creative background; I love design technology and gardening and am excited by our new school garden. In my spare time I enjoy sewing, exploring parks and forests with my two young children and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to the new year with the St David’s family!

Teaching Assistant Nurture and Curriculum Support

Mrs Stacey Williams

In September 2014 I returned to education and began a work placement here at St David’s. I was welcomed with open arms and received great advice and support throughout the duration of my course- I didn’t want to leave! A year later I was fortunate enough to officially become part of this fantastic team. I started as a 1:1 in year 1 and have moved up with the class each year. I thoroughly enjoy my role here, and it has been a pleasure to be able to follow the children’s progress and achievements along the way.
My time outside of school is spent enjoying life and making memories with my partner and our four fabulous children.

Teaching Assistant Nurture and Behaviour Support

 Mrs Louise Adams

I started my journey here at St David's as a childcare student on placement in 2009. I had been to several schools during my placement time, but this was my favourite. The staff, children and ethos makes it such a lovely place to work. I was lucky enough to be asked to cover a teaching assistants maternity in 2011 and I have worked here ever since. I've worked with many children and their wonderful families over the years and have a special place in my heart for St David's.

Being a teaching assistant is a very rewarding job and I love working in a field where I feel I am having a positive impact on those around me. AS well as being a teaching assistant, I am also a mum of a 3 year old little boy, who will soon be joining our fantastic school. I am very much looking forward to the year ahead.

I joined the wonderful team as St. David’s in November 2020 as a 1:1 teaching assistant in year 6. I have been a teaching assistant for ten years working in all year groups, I really enjoy helping all children to reach their full potential in all aspects of school life.

I have lived in Cardiff all my life and I am married with three teenage daughters. In my spare time I enjoy travelling and  reading but most of all spending time with my family.

I have loved every minute of my time at St. David’s and I look forward to the future of being part of the school community.
