I have two amazing children and love spending time with my friends and family. I like traveling a great deal due to being born in South Africa and living in America for 15 Years.

I have worked at Saint David's since 2012, I am married and have 3 children, all of whom have attended Saint David's. My youngest is currently in Year 6 and the other 2 are now in High School. I am qualified in British Sign Language and before I began work in our school I used to run my own business teaching babies to sign. After I graduated from University, I worked in a hotel in London organising conferences and weddings. I enjoy going to the theatre and long walks with my little dog, Milo.

I have supported this class since they were in Nursery and have absolutely loved watching them all grow!.

Mrs Stacey Williams

Year 4 Teaching Assistant

In September 2014 I returned to education and began a work placement here at St David’s. I was welcomed with open arms and received great advice and support throughout the duration of my course- I didn’t want to leave! A year later I was fortunate enough to officially become part of this fantastic team. I started as a 1:1 in year 1 and have moved up with the class each year. I thoroughly enjoy my role here, and it has been a pleasure to be able to follow the children’s progress and achievements along the way.
My time outside of school is spent enjoying life and making memories with my partner and our four fabulous children.

Mr Scott Norman

Year 5 Class Teacher

I joined St David’s CIW Primary School in September 2016 and I’m currently enjoying working in the Year 5 class. Originally from Devon, I moved to Cardiff when I was 18 to undertake my English with Education degree at the University of South Wales and completed my teacher training in a range of schools across Cardiff. Before St David’s, I began my teaching career in the West Midlands, where I taught for 2 years before becoming homesick and returned to Cardiff!  As a student, I got involved in student radio, where I developed a range of digital skills, which has lead to me being the Digital Competence Leader at St David’s, as part of the STEM team.  I really admire the enthusiasm that children show when working with new technology and I understand the importance of teaching these skills in order to make children better equipped for life in the 21st century.

Miss Victoria Fletcher

Year 6 Teacher

Senior Leadership Team

I joined St David's in September 2017 and love being part of a small, caring school. I am originally from Herefordshire but began my teaching career after completing my PGCE at Bath Spa University. I taught in Bath for 5 years before moving to Cardiff in 2014. Outside of school, I love gardening, walking with my dog and spending time with family and friends.

Miss Amy Silva

Year 6 Teaching Assistant

Since graduating from Cardiff Met University in 2016, I have worked at St David’s with a range of year groups, mainly based in Key Stage 2. For the past 2 years, I have worked closely with these wonderful children completing different group interventions and supporting the class teachers in all areas of the curriculum. Now based in Year 6, I continue to do this, most importantly by supporting the children through numerous literacy and numeracy interventions. I also have a passion for speaking welsh with the children and love being creative!
